Job Description
Our Architectural Industry Sector Client who specialise in delivering design projects both commercial and residential are looking to attract an ambitious and motivated Junior Architect to join their team in Wandsworth, SW18, London. The ideal candidate will have experience in architectural design, project management, and a background in using Revit. This role offers an opportunity to lead small projects and ensure that projects align with both client needs and the Company' high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget, supporting Senior Architects and Director.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop innovative design solutions.
* Manage parts of the design process, from initial sketches to technical documentation, using Revit.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Lead site visits on small scale projects and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
* Coordinate with other professionals, including engineers, quantity surveyors, and consultants.
Key Requirements:
* Candidates must be at least part 2 qualified with RIBA circa 2 years experience
* Proficiency in Revit: Strong Revit skills are essential.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.
* Experience in leading small scale projects is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to a variety of audiences coupled with exceptional problem solving skills and a dynamic "can do approach".
* Some experience in BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
* Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
