Job summary
We have a vacancy for a motivated, dynamic band 2 health care assistant on the acute medical assessment unit. This is a fast paced unit for patients with a range of acute medical conditions.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team, undertaking a range of patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered nurse.

Main duties of the job
Assist the registered nurse to deliver a high standard of holistic patient care, ensuring that the patients` dignity and equality is maintained at all times.
Ensure the principles set out in the fundamentals of care are incorporated into daily practice to ensure high quality service for patients and clients.
Assist the patients to maintain their own hygiene and personal appearance.
To perform duties within the plan of care delegated by a qualified practitioner, only for which he/she has the relevant training and assessment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
