Community Physiotherapy
Please note: This is a fixed-term post for 12 months to cover maternity leave
We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team here in the Borders area with our ambition to deliver high quality care to our patients as part of the Community AHP Service. This post is based in the Berwickshire area with close transport links to Edinburgh and rest of the Borders. You will be working within the Home First team with a focus on community person centred care to promote our patients to live as independently as possible within their preferred environment. Primarily preventing admissions and the timely supported discharge back to home.
As a clinician you will independently assess and treat routine and complex patients in the community setting with a variety of conditions, managing your own caseload and signposting to other services when required. Therefore, a clinical experience of orthopaedics, neurology, medicine of the elderly & frailty in community patient groups is essential.
You will be supported in your own professional development, have the opportunity to pursue clinical interests whilst continuing to deliver a service across a broad base of practice. You will also benefit from working within a skilled and supportive team to promote yours and others’ professional development with a timely professional supervision and appraisal structure.

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
