People and Culture Officer - About you
* Experience in administration in an HR/ Recruitment environment is essential
* CIPD or working towards is desirable
* Experience in hospitality or hotel background is desirable
* Think and act in goal-orientated manner and able to prioritise tasks in order of importance
* Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues
* A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude
People and Culture Officer role
To provide a comprehensive, confidential HR and recruitment function to the Chewton Glen team, building strong relationships with both the employees and the management team to support the achievement of our vision and values.
People and Culture Officer role responsibilities:
* Support recruitment process by maintaining all job advertisements on our applicant tracking system and internal notice board whilst managing applications
* Shortlisting and interviewing candidates and scheduling interviewings with HoDs
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with all levels of management team
* Ensure all personal files and HR system are constantly maintained with updated information
* Take ownership of onboarding process for new starters from recruitment to first day
* Processing new starter contracts, accommodation arrangements and uniform requirements
* Process leaver documentation ensuring communication via exit interviews are administered
* Complete wage adjustments and process contractual changes for job changes and promotions
* Diarise reviews for probationary periods, interviews and communicate all information to managers
* Support HR Manager with absence reports, maternity/paternity documentation
* Confidently communicate to employees regarding uniform and social media policies
* Support the HR Manager with any additional requests
