Career Teachers are recruiting for qualified QTS or PGCE Religious Studies Teachers within schools based around Sheffield and surrounding areas. These will be to work on either a full-time and long-term basis or part-time, day to day basis. Whether you’re looking to gain valuable experience across schools, or looking for flexibility in the new academic year, we have roles for you!
Whether you have multiple years of teaching experience or you have recently completed your studies, we want to hear from you!
To be considered for this role you will need to:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
* Experience teaching Religious Studies or a related subject at the secondary level, with a passion for inspiring and motivating students of all abilities.
* Deep knowledge and understanding of religious beliefs, practices, and ethical principles, with a commitment to promoting tolerance, empathy, and respect for diversity.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
* A passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current with educational best practices and technological advancements.
* Have recent, relevant experience teaching RS at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
* Be flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
* Have a current DBS or be willing to complete a new one.
* Be able to easily commute to Sheffield or within the South Yorkshire area.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be resilient and adaptable to ensure you thrive in a dynamic classroom environment.
