* This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the Head Office. The role can be based at either our Bracknell or London Head Office depending on your preference. If based in London, the normal place of work for this role is Victoria, London pending the relocation of the London office to Pimlico during the summer of 2024, after which the normal place of work will become Pimlico, London.
* The salary range for this role is set at £52,800 - £84,300.
* This is a permanent position.

With the Partnership's announcement in 2020 to accelerate our goal to becoming net-zero by 2035, this is an opportunity to be a part of the team that will be responsible for innovating, designing and delivering the property aspects of scope 1 and 2 emissions.
Working within the Technical Services Team that sets standards, policy and specification that we use to design, build, commission and maintain our buildings. Innovating in your area of expertise to deliver the Partnership Plan. Reinvigorating our Responsible Property Framework (RPF) to ensure alignment with our net-zero goals.

As a Sustainability Manager, Built Environment, your role is essential in aligning our physical estate with legislation, policies, and regulations. You will contribute to our Purpose, Ethics & Sustainability strategy while ensuring healthy, sustainable buildings and achieving net-zero targets.
Day to day you will
Strategic Leadership:
* Drive the implementation of our RPF that we will use to ensure that we plan, design, construct, commission, operate and dispose of assets, ensuring this is done sustainably and with net-zero at the core.
* Evolve the framework to meet JLP’s aspirations and sustainability goals.
Climate Risk Assessment:
* Assess and address climate risks across JLP’s built environment.
* Monitor and enhance indoor environment quality.
Collaboration and Influence:
* Engage with project teams and stakeholders to ensure best-in-class delivery.
* Leverage internal and external expertise to support sustainability plans.
Carbon Reporting and Reduction:
* Oversee Scope 1, 2, and selected Scope 3 carbon reporting.
* Manage contracts with carbon consultants for accurate data collation.
* Support external assurance processes and progress reporting against Science Based Targets.
