Key Responsibilities
* Customer Acquisition : Actively pursue new public sector clients by leveraging partnerships, industry expertise, and networking skills, with an emphasis on navigating government procurement processes.
* Account Development : Strengthen and expand relationships with existing public sector clients, identifying their changing security needs and providing solutions to enhance their cybersecurity.
* Relationship Management : Build and sustain strong connections with government
* Government Interaction : Familiarity with working alongside government entities, understanding procurement practices, and managing compliance requirements.
* Cybersecurity Insight : Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, with a focus on applications within the public sector.
* Travel Flexibility : Willingness to travel occasionally for client interactions, government events, and stakeholder engagement activities
Qualifications
* 10+ Years in Sales : Proven experience in IT or cybersecurity sales with strong skills in building relationships within the public sector.
* Government Interaction : Familiarity with working alongside government entities, understanding procurement practices, and managing compliance requirements.
* Cybersecurity Insight : Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, with a focus on applications within the public sector.
* Problem-Solving Ability : Skilled in efficiently resolving critical issues as they arise.
* Relevant Education : Ideally holds a degree or advanced education in a related field.
* Travel Flexibility : Willingness to travel occasionally for client interactions, government events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
