Sharp Consultancy is a leading recruitment firm specialising in finance and accountancy roles.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to assist the Finance Manager keep on top of a busy ledger and set up new processes. The role is based in the village of Bakewell and boasts a great office with onsite parking. The working atmosphere is fast paced due to the nature of the business, however, the team are welcoming and will look to provide training into how they work so that you will be able to hit the ground running with the previous experience you will already be bringing to the table.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Finance manager.

Daily reconciliation of 4 bank accounts.
*
Produce reports on Excel for the Finance Manager.
*
Liaise with suppliers and handle any AP queries.
*
Assist with the bi-weekly payment run.
*
Support the wider team with ad hoc admin duties.
Requirements:
*
2 years working in a similar role.
*
Be able to reliably commute to Bakewell each day.
*
Great attention to detail.
*
Be comfortable using Excel.
*
Proficiency in using accounting systems, Xero is a great benefit but not essential.
