We are recruiting for a Cardiology Booking Service Support Officer who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
· To work as a member of a flexible team enabling and supporting patients through the booking of outpatient services according to NHS plan access targets in a knowledgeable and courteous manner.
· To provide a professional, accurate and courteous appointments and reception service within the Cardiology Booking Service.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good standard of secondary education, equivalent to 4 GCSEs.
Physical Skills
* Handling case notes and deliveries.
* Flexibility in line with service needs.
* Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to continuously update working practices.
* Reliable and punctual.
Abilities
* Ability to relate and communicate effectively with staff at all levels, both clinical and non-clinical.
Communication Skills
* Must be able to use a variety of communication methods.
* Must remain calm and professional under pressure.
